How to get ownership/Residential certificate in Kerala?

  Residents of Panchayat, Municipality and Corporation areas should have building number to apply for Certificate of Ownership and Certificate of Residence.

To whom should the application be submitted?

Application submitted before Secretary of the Local Self Government Institution where the building is located.

How soon will it be available?

Ownership Certificate (Within 3 days) 

Residential Certificate (Within 7 days)

What are the documents to be submitted?

1. Application prepared on white paper with court fee stamp of Rupees. 5/-

(The application form can be downloaded from below)

2. If the applicant is not the owner when submitting the certificate of residence, the consent of the building owner or the lease agreement must be submitted.

How can I get ownership certificate online in Kerala?

Visit the website by clicking on the link below

https://tax.lsgkerala.gov.in/epayment/index.php

Select your District and local body type and click “Search” button

From the below list of Local bodies select your Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation click “Search” button

Then click on the "Ownership Certificate" button

Select Ward year enter Ward No and door number  click “Search” button

Click the name of owner and click "Ownership Certificate" button  select the purpose of ownership certificate and download. This certificate can be used for the following offices and purposes. This certificate is computer generated and does not require any Seal/Signature in original.
