Vidyatharangini Loan Scheme

The current situation is that schools are unable to function due to the Covid epidemic. Students in grades 1 through 12 study online. The State Co-operation Department provides assistance to students who do not have the facility to study online. The Department of Co-operatives has issued an order to provide interest free loans through co-operative societies and banks for the purchase of mobile phones for students to avail this facility.

A maximum of Rs. 10000 / - will be available interest free for purchase of mobile phones. Eligible students falling under the purview of the respective co-operative institutions will be eligible for loan on the basis of a certificate from the school authorities. It is sufficient to repay the loan in 24 equal installments. 

• Loans will be sanctioned through this scheme from 25.06.2021 to 31.07.2021.

• The loan term will be 24 months.

• The loan has to be repaid in a maximum of 24 equal monthly installments.

• Up to a maximum of 8% interest will be charged on the balance remaining after the loan term.

• The bill of the mobile phone purchased within the loan period should be presented in the bank. 
• You must apply for Class A membership along with the application.
